About LithiumQ
LithiumQ emerged from firsthand exposure to supply-chain disruption.
We've seen operational systems fail after early success — not because models were wrong, but because learning stalled while the environment changed.
Before LithiumQ, the founder built and launched a supply-chain software company serving Fortune 100 customers, and designed optimization models used in production. These systems required course correction and assumption-tuning as the environment changed.
That experience raised a practical question:
Can an AI system actually run an operational system — not just advise or forecast — when it must make decisions before the environment is fully understood, and sometimes change that environment in order to learn?
Early attempts followed the standard agent design playbook.
They failed — not due to poor modeling or prompting, but because the structure of learning and decision-making was wrong.
LithiumQ exists to confront this challenge directly.
We are a systems studio focused on long-horizon AI decision-making.
Research first. Products follow once the truth holds.
